I believe one of our greatest misfortunes of the modern world is our loss of connection to the natural world. In a society driven by material and status, the earth-based folk ways of living are slipping away. Even the idea of "wilderness" exemplifies how separate we've become; The otherness we feel toward nature as if we are somehow removed from it all.

My life philosophy is simple:

we are nature

This website is a glimpse into my own personal journey toward rewilding ~ reclaiming my own connection to land. I invite you to explore my collections of writings and imagery to evoke a sense of curiosity and remembrance within your own being that ~ you too ~ can remember that we are all creatures of this earth we call home.

“Even a wounded world is feeding us. Even a wounded world holds us, giving us moments of wonder and joy. I choose joy over despair. Not because I have my head in the sand, but because joy is what the earth gives me daily and I must return the gift.”
